Designing with outcomes in mind
Designing anything involves having a purpose clearly in mind. A great part of my work consists of working with my client group, getting clarity around purpose and developing a visual language that supports it. Then I work at melding type, images and structure into a graphic piece that works on the eye, the mind and the emotions.
From there, it’s off to the races with rounds of interaction with clients, suppliers and consumers to iterate the design.
My work in design is informed by my background in strategic marketing and marketing management. My design process is influenced by my work as a planning facilitator bringing together stakeholders to create common ground for business growth. My approach to innovation is steered by work in rapid prototyping and architectural design process.
